Migrant route: Balkans to Calais- BBC News

Last year a million migrants arrived in Europe. Germany adopted an open door policy towards those fleeing war in the Middle East. But other European countries were less accepting -- and over the past year there's been a hardening of political attitudes towards refugees and migrants. Our Special Correspondent Fergal Keane has travelled along the migrant route from the Balkans to Calais, to test the new mood.
