George Floyd: Massive turnout for US protests against racism | DW News

Protesters have been gathering in Washington DC and many other cities to mobilize against racism and police brutality. Tens of thousands braved a hot, humid day to call for reform in the US capital. Calls rang out for people to vote US President Donald Trump out of office. That protest, and others around the world, has arisen from outrage over the death of George Floyd who died while in police custody in Minneapolis almost two weeks ago.
